"She's late and he is waiting..."

This point-and-click interactive collages is based off of the Ilokano folklore "Litao, The Husband of the Sirena", it's the story of a forbidden marriage between a river spirit and a mermaid.

I pitched this story to my team mates because I have a close connection with the sea and together we decided to focus on the research I had done on this tale. Our interactive collage captures the moment when Sirena finally visits Litao in the place where the river meets the sea. It's the pivotal moment which leaves the viewers wandering if they'll get their happy ending.

My contributions were the folklore research, Sirena's animations and character design and the ocean and lily pad illustrations.
